I had an very nice experience at the Colony Palms, where the staff went out of their way to make my birthday trip special, greeting me with champagne and an upgrade. However, the dining experience at the restaurant fell short, which was disappointing compared to my expectations. The hotel's atmosphere and beautiful grounds provided a perfect retreat, even if some amenities could be improved.
